Bethesda Lacrosse (BLC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit lacrosse organization in Bethesda, Maryland, established in 1989 as the Montgomery Youth Lacrosse Association (MYLA) and incorporated in 2006 as Bethesda Lacrosse Association. The club serves youth players from Pre-K through 8th grade and states it serves over 1,800 players per year. Bethesda Lacrosse describes its setup as built on three pillars—Clinics, Rec Teams, and Club Teams—designed to provide instruction, competition, growth, development, and fun. PROGRAMS
Programs
The club provides Introductory/Scoopers Clinics for beginners looking to learn the sport. Rec Teams run during fall and spring seasons, no tryout, welcoming boys K/1st–8th and girls 1st/2nd–8th grade. During the fall season, rec teams play games and a handful of practices as the club season begins. In the spring season, rec team practices weekly and games take place while the club season continues. Year-round Club (BLC) teams run September through June/early July, determined through tryouts and evaluation with team designations of blue, orange, or white. The club season concludes by early July, with club tryouts typically late June.

TUITION
Cost to play
The site states registration for a club team includes a commitment to pay the team fee in full at registration or per a payment plan. There is a $25 non-refundable cancellation fee for all refunds, and no refunds after March 1 for spring or September 1 for fall. The club states that no refunds or credits are issued for withdrawal from BLC at any point during the year.
Coaches can pursue the US Lacrosse Coaching Education Program (Levels 1-3), and Bethesda Lacrosse will reimburse fees incurred for US Lacrosse Coaching Certification.
