Broadneck Lacrosse Club is the girls' club lacrosse program operated by BAYS, based in Arnold, Maryland on the Broadneck Peninsula. BAYS has offered recreation lacrosse to the Annapolis community for over 20 years, launching this competitive club alternative in 2021. PROGRAMS
Programs
The club serves grade years 2030 through 2036 across seven teams, ranging from 2nd/3rd graders up through 9th graders. Annual tryouts take place in June/July at Broadneck Park Field A, which also serves as the club's primary training facility. The fall season includes one practice weekly, scrimmages, and 2-3 tournaments. During the winter, players participate in indoor practices and/or winter 6's league play. Spring brings two practices weekly and 8 NGLL games through the National Girls Lacrosse League. Summer activity begins with optional pickup games and workouts and concludes with 2-3 tournaments. The club states this year-round schedule lets players compete with and against stronger players, advancing skills faster while building community.
