Established in 1999, Connecticut FC fields CFC Legacy teams for boys and girls from U8 to U18/19 across Upper and Lower Fairfield County. The club serves Westchester and Lower Fairfield County, with CFC South maintaining a mailing address in Plainville, CT and training centered at CFC Park in Bethany, CT. The club serves boys and girls from U8 through U18/19 and offers entry-level developmental programs including CFC Little Kickers, CFC United Academy, and CFC Bethany Academy. In the Upper Fairfield County program, boys and girls U8-U18/U19 participate in EDP, EDP National League, NAL National Academy League, and Pre ECNL for U11 and U12, pulling players from Shelton, Trumbull, Fairfield, Westport, Weston, Monroe, Easton, and Newtown. The Lower Fairfield County program fields boys U8-U12 in EDP and girls U8-U18/19 in EDP, ECNL RL, and Pre ECNL, drawing from Norwalk, New Canaan, Darien, Stamford, Greenwich, and Rye NY. As a member of ECNL and ECNL Regional League, CFC Legacy Girls compete in ECNL RL Northeast across ages U11-U19. Regular team training locations focus at CFC Park on Amity Road in Bethany, which the club describes as a state-of-the-art sports facility. Play takes place throughout the year, including spring outdoor soccer, summer outdoor soccer, fall outdoor soccer, and winter indoor training. Club-wide tryouts for 2026/27 season operate with separate registrations by region, placing players by school grade for Fall 2026 to protect high school graduation pathways under the age group change rule. Current ECNL and ECNL RL players from outside Connecticut Football Club are not permitted to tryout until 5/1. Supplemental tryouts for boys U11-U18/19 run April 20 and April 22 at OTC Monroe and St. Joseph High School Trumbull. Girls tryouts spanning age groups U11 (2015) to U19 (2008/07) take place between April 8th – 11th at Mater Salvatoris and Rye Country Day School. Specific evening sessions at Rye Country Day School include evaluations on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday across the 2008 through 2015 birth years.
