Founded in 1967 as a 501(c)3 non-profit, the organization formerly known as Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club has rebranded as Colorado Storm Soccer Club. Operating across Front Range communities including Denver, Fort Collins, and Castle Rock, the club describes itself as a Top 50 youth soccer club in the country. The organization is recognized as Colorado's largest youth club and offers an MLS-affiliated pathway. Its history includes a 2012 partnership between Colorado Fusion and the Colorado Rapids, two Guinness World Records, and honors as an Aspen Institute Project Play Champion.

PROGRAMS
Programs
The player pathway starts with Sparks at age 3 and advances through Recreational, Rec Plus/Thunder, Competitive, and National Platform tiers up to U19. Recreational and Sparks programs register by single season, while competitive teams run 10-month seasons with a split-season structure for high-school players. Year-round camps serve ages 3-18 alongside Sparks sessions, with fall gameskicking off in August followed by indoor winter play and spring competition. Summer camps and Sparks summer sessions run in warmer months, with training held at sites including Gates South and the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

TUITION
Cost to play
Registration fees fund field rentals and facility maintenance, coaching equipment, referee funding, college placement advisory, medical resources, and governing body fees. Uniforms are not included in registration fees and must be ordered separately through Soccer.com. Families requesting financial aid must submit applications via PlayMetrics before established fall and spring deadlines.
Recreational squads are coached by parent volunteer coaches, whereas competitive and national squads are led by licensed, professional coaching staff.
