About Inter Atlanta

Inter Atlanta FC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth soccer club based at 161 Arizona Ave NE in Atlanta, Georgia. The club states its mission is to "develop principled, passionate people through a quality soccer experience," emphasizing player development in a team environment where every level is equally and critically important. Its club culture is guided by four core values—Excellence, Growth, Trust, and Spirit—with the club describing trust as the currency of a healthy club.

PROGRAMS
Programs

Inter Atlanta FC offers programs spanning Recreation, Junior Blues, Club, Academy, and Select, alongside Friday Skills Training, Future Blues, and TOPSoccer. Competitive tracks include play in MLS Next, GA Aspire, NAL, and DPL. Year-round options include a Spring Friendly season as well as summer camps and SCCL Summer League play. Training locations include Arizona Ave Fields, Glenwood Soccer Park, Agnes Scott, APS Coan Building/Field, Austin, Benteen Elementary, Candler, and Field of Dreams.

TUITION
Cost to play

The average cost per player for a full season is $1,500, with Friday Skills Training offered at $150 for 12 sessions. The Friday Skills Training fee covers 12 sessions of supplementary training for Academy, Select, and Club players who train twice a week. Payment plan options for Junior Blues, Academy, Select, and Club programs are presented during PlayMetrics checkout with no application required. Need-based financial aid is generally unavailable to households over $80,000 income and requires a PlayMetrics application with tax documentation. General aid packages provide discounts, one summer camp, a free uniform package, and travel assistance for out-of-metro-Atlanta travel, and 100% of donations support the financial aid and outreach programs.

Credentialed coaching staff
The club's staff includes directors and coaches holding USSF A/B licenses, UEFA B/C licenses, and United Soccer Coaches Premier and Advanced National Diplomas.
Executive leadership
Executive leadership is headed by Chief Executive Officer Andy Skorupski and Chief Operating Officer Lea Rolfes.
Technical leadership
Chief Soccer Officer John Downey joined as a Recreation volunteer in 2007 and holds a USSF-A Youth License, while Sporting Director Ed Joyce brings 19 years as an NCAA Division I coach and holds a UEFA B License.
Program directors
Program oversight includes Club Program Director and College Recruitment Director Spenser Sumpter, MLS Next Director Jack Curtin, and Recreation Director Joey Syfert, who was named 2020 Georgia Soccer Boys Coach of the Year.
