About Philadelphia Freedom Lacrosse

Philadelphia Freedom Lacrosse is a competitive club program serving boys and girls throughout the Philadelphia region. Co-founders Bob Miller and Kevin Goforth established and have managed Philadelphia Freedom Lacrosse together since 2006, spurred by their shared interest in advancing regional lacrosse. The organization states its goal is to offer a competitive environment for skill development while instilling respect and confidence in young players. On US Club Lax, Freedom is ranked #108 nationally for boys and #147 for girls.

PROGRAMS
Programs

The club fields boys and girls teams throughout the Philadelphia region, including age-group squads such as 2026 Red, 2027 Red, and 2028 Red. Fall training features Sunday practices alongside participation in one or two tournament events. Winter brings indoor practice sessions, with certain teams also participating in box lacrosse competitions. During the summer, squads practice two to three times each week and enter three to four tournaments. In the spring, select youth teams take part in external club leagues and special events.

TUITION
Cost to play

Tuition provides players with Under Armour gear each year, including a jersey, shorts, and shooter shirt. Annual player fees vary by team based on specific schedules and operating budgets, with final costs shared once rosters are set. Families can order supplementary gear through online Fanzone portals that open during the fall and spring.
